The rule of thumb for the last 30 years on the Central Coast has been: “When you think fence, think Watkins!” True West Construction began three decades ago as Watkins Fence Company in Oak View, California. As a family-owned and operated business, we established ourselves as the leading provider of quality corrals, fence projects, and ranch and land improvements.
We built our reputation on the promise that our projects would enhance the beauty of your property and stand the test of time, delivered by a crew dedicated to the best possible service.

As our family has grown, so has our reach. We are proud to announce that True West Construction now operates out of two primary hubs, one in Ojai, California and our newest location in Honeyville, Utah. By expanding our footprint, we are better equipped to serve ranch and property owners across the western states. Today, we take those same “Watkins standards” of grit and integrity and apply them to large-scale residential, commercial, and agricultural projects.
